Legal Question about child support and relinquishing parental rights?

Okay, this is a long story. Basically, my ex's mom had temporary custody of my son from birth. When I got on me feet and was ready to take care of my son, the grandmother fought me for custody. October 2010, I finally got primary custody of my son, but the grandmother still has standard visitation rights. (2nd and 4th weekends, holidays, summer and spring break, etc etc) Rose, the grandmother, never took perry, the father of my son, to court. Only me. So I had to pay child support the whole time as well as driving two hours one way twice a week just to see my son. I faithfully did all that for two years while fighting this custody battle. Perry, my son's father, was never taken to court and never made to pay child support. He got to see Hayden when ever he wanted, which was a lot because he lives in the same town as Rose. Well, now that I have custody, Perry told me that he does not want to go to court, pay child support, or have court ordered parental rights. Perry still gets to see Hayden, my son, whenever Rose has her visitation with Hayden...which is half the time. Well, I was going to go through the texas attorney general to get Perry to pay child support, but come to find out, with paying child support, he gets his own visitation time. (which I am fine with) My question is, when they give him a visitation schedule, will the judge take away my time or the grandmothers time? I dont know if it would be worth it to get Perry to take some responsibility if they are just going to take my time with my son away from me. How does this work. Another question I have is, I am re-married to a wonderful man. We have been married two years. Mike, my husband, is very loving towards my son. They do everything together. I changed my last name to my husbands last name. So now, my husband, my step daughter, and I have the same last name, and my son has my maiden name. I talked to a professional to see if it would be in my sons best interest to keep my last name or to change it to my married last name. She said that Hayden would feel like an outsider to my family by having a different last name than everybody else and that it would be a good idea to change his last name to my married name. Well, come to find out, in order to do the name change for my son, Perry has to agree to it or voluntarily relinquish his rights. Otherwise, I wont be able to do the name change. Perry and Rose have already told me they want Hayden to have Perrys last name. I didnt agree with that because Perry doesnt want to take any responsiblity for his son, not to mention, my son lives with me and he is my son and I want him to have whatever last name I have. (Perry wasnt even at the hospital when Hayden was born. He wanted nothing to do with him. Perry even told his mom not to take my son in and to let CPS take him, Rose did anyways, and I am very grateful for Rose taking Hayden in, despite all the trouble.) They then threatened to take me back to court and etc etc if I tried to change Haydens last name to my name. I think Perry would relinquish his rights but his mom wont let him and if he did anyways, it would create problems between them, so he wont do it. What do I do? I mean really. Perry wants to see Hayden but not take care of him. How is that fair to Hayden? How is that fair to anybody but Perry. I need help with clothes and things like that, but I dont want to have my time taken away from Hayden. Perry does not deserve to get Hayden to have his last name. Am I wrong? Any advise would help. I dont know what to do. Mike, my husband, is way more of a father than Perry is. Mike supports Hayden emotionally, financially, he provides everything for him. Please help. I need help with my friends family?

My bestfriends extended family hates me! They are mostly redneck type people I don't mean to steryotype them but I have to so I can describe them. I have studied the American Revolution in detail so obviously I know that America did gain its freedom and due to several contributing factors. I just feel that although the Americans did put up a valiant effort against Britain, and did enjoy some military successes, they did not win their independence for themselves. In my personal opinion, the only reason they secured their independence was due to the fact that a change in politics in London garnered anti-war sentiments which forced Lord North out of office. With the entrance of France, Spain, and the Netherlands, Britain's forces and resources were stretched fighting a global war to preserve its colonial empire. I think the only reason they granted America its independence was because they could not afford to lose their other colonies in India and the Caribbean. By War's end in 1783, The british still had a large military force and the largest navy in the world. If they wanted to, in an alternate history, I do believe they could have persecuted the war for several more years and probably won it. So in essence do not think America WON its independence, rather Britain felt that it was not a critical issue worth pursuing further and relinquished it. It was foreign intervention and political strife in Parliament that brought about its end. This is purely my thought based on research I am only posting this to facilitate discussion. If anyone else has knowledge on the topic and thinks otherwise please I ask you to post your argument, I am curious what others think.

I think it has to do with a lot of ignorance, and a lack of a history or humanities class. Catholics were the first Christians. Many protestants, along with others get a bad taste in their mouth when even hearing the word, 'Catholic', so they would never want to associate themselves with it. Even a the Apostles Creed, a Catholic prayer, with the word catholic in it, is used by most christian churches. All in all, its a shame. Catholics among other Christians all have the same goal, and we should work together to accomplish that goal.

We agreed to this as we all knew the market was hard and the likelihood of a sale in the near future was pretty dim, allowing us the time we still needed to get a mortgage. In order to prevent foreclosure we said the bank representatives could come and examine the house, and the real estate agents could show the house. Of course the owner is in a hurry to get things moving, understandably, but we told him it could take up to a year. The owner decided that if we cant buy right this moment he wanted us out and he would relinquish the house to the bank. His prerogative, but we have a lease, and he has to go to court to get possession of the house. He sent an email stating that he guesses we have to go to a month to month lease. That is what he said no Straight answer, no straight terms, just that. My lawyer's assistant says he doesn't think that counts. Doesn't THINK?? The weird tan I'm getting from being in the sun during sports, with my shin guards an my long-ish shorts is making my knees super tan and the rest of my leg not so much. Also, my jersey has sleeves that go down pretty far, so the top part of my arms is pale, where by the lower part is very tan. I'm basically stuck in a conundrum because I hate living in small town SC where there are no girls (never been on a date), no good friends that aren't married, and no good career paths. Ok so last summer i was on vacation and we saw a big fireworks show. on the way to the hotel from there it was harder to breath and then i started shaking uncontroably. I could talk and i knew what was going on, but i couldn't stop shaking. it happened a lot that week and then when we got back it stopped for a few months until i watched the titanic. It all sarted again. it goes away in like about a half hour to 2 hours it really depends. after it happens i am really weak and tired. Just recently i went to a babysitting class and was there until lunch but then i got up to get my lunch and i grabbed on to my friend and told her i didnt feel good. i felt like i was and wasnt there like it almost felt like a dream. i was shaky but not uncontrlable. i went to the ER and they did blood test and gave me an iv and they didnt find anything wrong with me. then i went to dance and i felt almost like i had a fever and i got pale and felt that like dreamy feeling again but not as bad so i just left it alone and if someone asked i told them i felt feverish and thats it. i got home and i was soooo tired after that. do thhese sound like seizures to you?

So I'm trying to recover, and yesterday I said "If I feel hungry, I should eat until I'm full" so I ate breakfast,lunch,dinner,snacks yesterday, but the problem is that it totalled 928 calories only, and I was actually happy because I managed to eat that amount in 1 whole day. Not that it's too much, it's too little, I'm aware of that. But then I couldn't sleep for the whole night, and I woke up at 6.30 am with hunger pangs! so after 30 minutes or so when I finally gave up and realized there would be no way to get back to sleep, I weighed myself and saw that I hadn't lost anything, I got frustrated and was like "F*ck it" so I ate, and was like really hungry :/ I consumed like 2000 calories. I don't know why my body does this to me though, like I get pale and dizzy and it feels like I haven't eaten for days if I don't get the right amount of food for 12 - 24 hours. So after I had consumed 2000 calories, I said I wouldn't eat until tomorrow, 6 hours later I binged on cookies :/ so THEN I purged! and THEN on top of that I took 1 bag of laxative powder. I don't want to do this anymore, it's enough! I want to like my body and I'm tired of being in auto-mode while this other unknown person inside of me is doing this. Please help, I know I can beat this on my own, but I just need some support from some people that have gone through the same! :(

We agreed to this as we all knew the market was hard and the likelihood of a sale in the near future was pretty dim, allowing us the time we still needed to get a mortgage. In order to prevent foreclosure we said the bank representatives could come and examine the house, and the real estate agents could show the house. Of course the owner is in a hurry to get things moving, understandably, but we told him it could take up to a year. The real estate agent had come into the home for an examination of her own, 6 weeks after the bank had come. The bank said the home was in good shape and thought they would have no problems selling the house. The agent went to the home owner and told him that the house should be condemned, torn down it was worthless and CPS should be called on me. He went crazy thinking what in the world did we do to the house?? I told him she was lying he was more than welcome to come and see, she was mad at me because she asked me if I could clean up my house and I told her I had 6 kids had only moved in 6 months prior and was still unpacking, (and now packing) I was doing the best I could. A family of 8 has alot of stuff. So there is alot of clutter, I have boxes and tupperware containers everywhere. Now they are against the walls so people can move in the house, there aren't holes in the walls or floors, nothing at all to make what she said even remotely reasonable. Nor what she told the owner (I am in the process of filing an official complaint with her company). Those things aside, the owner decided that if we cant buy right this moment he wanted us out and he would relinquish the house to the bank. His prerogative, but we have a lease, and he has to go to court to get possession of the house. He sent an email stating that he guesses we have to go to a month to month lease. Fitting in at a new school!? HELP!?

I just graduated 8th grade and will be attending high school next year. I am planning on transferring to another school in which I think I will "fit in" a little better. The high school in which my middle school feeds into has a reputation of being a poor school. Also, many students are "redneck" and "ignorant" so to speak. (And yes, I am from the hills of KY and not all of us are like that :P ). I have been insulted about my style, education, and accent by fellow students. And yes, I tend to lean toward the "preppy" style of clothing. The school I am transferring to is a city school, unlike my old school which was part of the county district. Both are public schools, but the city school's student body has the reputation as being preppy, and the school is said to be a much more educational learning place (Yeah, they're hated by my old school). I believe I will fit in better at my new school, but just to make sure, what are some ways I an make sure I fit in? Thanks!

I would consult your doctor. There are plenty of reasons a person could black out. I suffer from fainting spells and I've had a lot of tests done, but they can't come up with a reason.

I dot follow the new rules either, but in the old rules, you can't use Egyptian god cards. and exodia is useless unless you have cards such as "witch of te black forest" to draw them from the deck to your hand faster. the ookazi are nearly useless when your doing a 8000 life point duel, only clogs up your deck when you need good cards, I prefer good old 5-6 star cards and not wasting 2 card sacrifices on one monster, so the blue eyes aren't good. Try for some 1800 or 1900 atk 4 star cards.

Thousand Eyes Restrict and Black Luster Soldier are both banned. 60 cards is way way too many cards, cut that number to 40 and it will be a lot better. You have included easily the worst card in Yugioh, Thousand Eyes Idol. Negate Attack, ReFusion, Black Illusion Ritual, Swords of Concealing Light, Sonic Bird, Buster Blader, Draining Shield, Emblem of the Dragon Destroyer, Field Barrier, Terraforming are all really bad in this deck. Get a good theme like cyber, beasts, blackwing, gladiator, or gadgets and stick with it.

How can I tan without burning?

Okay, look. I can never tan. EVER. I can sit outside all day, every day, or gradually and still burn, burn, burn. I'm not a redhead, I have brownish blonde hair. My dad and my brother tan GREAT, so I don't see why I can't? I've tried everything, sunscreen, tanning beds, tanning lotion, and I'm NOT gonna get a spray-on tan. I'm a guy, I don't do that. But I'm pale and it's disgusting. Is there anything I can eat or pills I could take? I also have a lot of acne, and I heard the sun cures that too. But I can't cure that without burning either! I live in South Carolina as well. I live in Pawleys Island, which is about 30 minutes south of Myrtle Beach. I've heard that Edisto is a lot like Pawleys because it is more low key and a lot less commercialized. We aren't extremely redneck in Pawleys, so I'd think the same for Edisto. I am wanting to relearn spanish after 10 years. I know how words and letters are supposed to be pronounced but I feel silly and rude when I try to manufacture the right accent. Betta fish is pale and unresponsive?

Brought him home about a month ago, first time with a Betta fish, or any fish for that matter. He was sick about 2 weeks ago because I was using tap water, I quickly went out and bought a water conditioner, but now he's having similar non-responsive symptoms; he is lying on the bottom of the tank, rarely being active and only going up for air, he is not eating, just spitting the pellets out, and this is what worries me most...he's very pale. He's usually a dark purple and light pink body but now hes almost orange and the purple is looking translucent. I did a water change today, and i'm going to fast him tomorrow and maybe the next day to make sure it's not constipation or swim bladder. (he's not swimming sideways yet..) I don't have a heater because our house is quite warm, but i've been doing water cycling today (taking out 2 cups of the water and replacing it with new hot conditioned water to raise the temperature a bit) The warm water seemed to help his activity but it does not explain the paleness and the lack of eating.. Can anyone throw perspective to this? (also his gills seem slightly swollen from the last ammonia shock...I really am trying to take good care of this fish..
