I need help with my friends family?

My bestfriends extended family hates me! They are mostly redneck type people I don't mean to steryotype them but I have to so I can describe them. Well I spend alot of time with them but they hate me! They loved me when I first met them but after my friend told them that I was gay they hated me. I know you guys are gunna say that I'm friends with my friend not her family but I spend alot of time with them because her house is the only place I can go without being herrased by my own family (who also hate me for being gay) her parents and sisters love me but her uncles and cousins and everybody are always over there so that doesn't help much. They only call me "fag boy" they never just call me by my name and her cousins have even hit me before! I don't act all feminen or anything I act like a regular guy my age so I don't get why it's a problem! Should I stand up for my self or not? The only reason I haven't done it yet is because she has 4 male cousins and her uncle isn't above beating up a 14 year old boy so I wouldn't stand a chance in a fight!
